What do Walden Bookstores have to Offer?

I am definitely what you could call a book lover. When I was just a youngster, one of my favorite places was Waldenbooks, a bookstore located in the local shopping mall. I loved the smell of all the new books, the sensory appeal of all the different colored tomes and the wealth of variety and selection. And I still do. To this day, a bookstore is one of my absolute favorite places. Maybe it's yours, too. If you've never browsed Walden Bookstores, you don't know what you're missing.

Today, this company has merged with Amazon. The online book giant has teamed with the Waldenbooks site to create a partnership. When you browse the Waldenbooks site you will see that it is part of Amazon. This is not surprising. After all, Amazon is the leading seller of books (among plenty of other things) on the Internet today. Maybe you don't want to shop online. Perhaps, like me, you enjoy the actual process of wandering through bookstore aisles. If so, you'll be happy to learn there are Waldenbooks location all over the country.

So, what will you find at the store? A better question is what won't you find! They carry fiction, nonfiction, classic literature, textbooks, magazines and so much more. No matter what you want to read about, they have it. You'll find the books are broken up by subject. There may be a section for romance, a section for suspense, a section for sci-fi. Under the nonfiction category you'll find all kinds of categories. For example, there is a section for cookbooks, a section for parenting books and a section for religious books. Everything is easy to find because it's in a logical place.

When you shop Walden bookstores you will also find they sell a variety of gift items and accessories. For example, you will find all kinds of various book marks and page markers. There are writing implements, book lights and of course, blank journals. You will even find various software titles and sometimes DVDs as well. If you're interested in audiobooks, you can certainly find them here. If the store doesn't have your item in stock, check online. Or, you may want to ask the manager about special ordering the item you're looking for.

Wolverine and the X-Men: Alpha and Omega #1 Review
Brian Wood is the rare sort of writer whose career has been characterized by a lack of focus on company-owned books. But Wood did get his start in the industry by writing Generation X. So as Wood begins taking on an increased number of licensed characters in 2012, it's only fitting that one such project sees him return to the troubled teen mutants among the X-Men...

The New York (Mayor's) Review of Books
"Indulging in a tale of make-believe" is rare for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, but the New York Times notes he actually recommended two spy mysteries this week by John LeCarre: Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and The Honourable Schoolboy . Of the latter, he said, "It's 600 pages, it's mostly description, there is almost nothing that happens. But it's fascinating!" "Virtually the only ...

And then there's the book's subtitle, which telegraphs the story's direction and robs it of some of its tension. But such moments are rare, and for virtually the entire book, O'Nan is in firm but understated control of his material.

The Trials and Triumphs of Les Dawson by Louis Barfe: review
Telegraph.co.uk
Les Dawson had a rare comedy gift: he could tell jokes at the expense of others without seeming a bully. Mostly this was because EUR unlike, say, Frankie Boyle today EUR he took no glee in mockery. Instead he had an ever-present air of sad, .
